As reflected by her name, Bella Chhoa's life is like a forest where there will be continuous learning and growth.

Apart from being the Assistant Director (Corporate Affairs) of the Company, Bella Chhoa is also the Company Secretary who leads the Legal and Human Resources Departments. It would be wrong to think that the life of a company secretary must be boring and dull. In fact, Bella knows how to play the piano, dance, take great photos and cook. She also loves learning new skills and having fun while doing it. Let's discover more about how Bella turns from the short-haired Princess Knight to a long-haired professional heroine.

    My childhood dream job was…

"Doctor! However, my performance in other science subjects was not good enough. Therefore, I picked law instead. My daughter is now studying medicine in the University of Hong Kong which is like helping me to finish my dream. She now laughs at me saying that I am not smart enough."

My best subject at school was…

"Biology and I always got full marks in this subject."

    My first love happened…

"When I was 16, I met a charming boy in a joint school activity. We broke up after two years and I felt so hurt. I thought he was handsome as he is mixed blood. But now when I look at his recent photos in Facebook, I think I was lucky and my taste gets better now."

The most memorable gift I received was…

"On my twentieth birthday, different friends sent me flowers and in the end, there were 100 flowers in total. It was a pity that I didn't take any pictures. Nothing to prove now."

    My favourite cartoon was…

"The Japanese cartoon Princess Knight. I choose this because when I was young, my hair was short and curly which looked the same as the Princess."

    My favourite song is...

    "Any song from Leslie Cheung."

    My favourite book is...

"Animal Farm by George Orwell. I read it when I was in primary school but did not know what it meant until grown up. The story is so true in life."

    My favourite movie is...

"Gone with the Wind. I watched it with mom. It was my first English speaking movie although I had no idea what was it about and just know that Vivian Leigh was beautiful."

The part of my body that I appreciate the most is…

"My eyebrows. They are so thick that I don't have to draw eyebrow when putting on makeup."

    My characteristic gesture is…

"I wink very often because of wearing contact lenses for too long. Gradually winking has become a gesture."

    I will swear…

"When I want to express my emotions, especially when facing something unfair or someone unreasonable. Sometimes when relaxingly having meeting with someone close, we would swear during our conversations."

    My favourite celebrities are…

"Gordon Ramsay, the master chief who is eloquent, tall and charming. Another one is Leslie Cheung as he is iconic."

    Things I'm passionate about…

"I have fallen in love with cooking in recent years. I started with French cuisine which is considered quite difficult, and I have used nine months to obtain the Disciples Escoffier Diploma in Culinary Arts offered by Master of French Gastronomy. After the course, I learnt Italian cuisine and my next target is Chinese cuisine."

    The most embarrassing thing was…

"When I joined my secondary school's singing contest when I was in a junior form, I thought I could sing and play piano at the same time. However, I completely forgot the lyrics and my hands and mouth couldn't coordinate when I started singing the first line. That was completely embarrassing!"

    My role model is…

"My mum as she contributes selflessly to the family which I don't think I could do with the same commitment" Bella described herself as only learning 50% from her mum.

    My motto is…

"Be kind-hearted and have a clear conscience."
