The ''Hang Lung Mathematics Awards – To Infinity'' social media publicity campaign has won the Silver Stevie Award at the 13th Annual International Business Awards, under the category of ''Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Sponsorship''.
Organized by The Stevie® Award, the International Business Awards (IBA) is the world's premier business awards program which aims to recognize outstanding campaigns from around the world. The 2016 IBAs received a record of more than 3,800 entries from over 60 countries and territories. The Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores given by over 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process.
Since its launch in January this year, the ''HLMA – To Infinity'' Facebook page has broadcasted nearly 70 feeds, all featuring different mathematics concepts or quotes, making use of daily examples which are easy to understand. The page has reached an audience of over 1,550,000 people and has gained a huge popular following within the education sector in Hong Kong. In addition to mathematics tips, the page has also collaborated with a number of social media KOLs to create a wide range of interactive games and engaging videos.
