    09/2017

Since 2005, the Hang Lung's Management Trainee Program has attracted aspiring university graduates and prepared them to become future leaders through 18 months of comprehensive training. The Company has received over 1,600 applicants from which 14 candidates were selected to join Hang Lung as Management Trainees 2017 (MTs) this year.

    Comprehensive Program to Groom Leaders

Enabling the MTs to learn more about Hang Lung's corporate culture, management structure and core business and operations, the Company arranged an orientation program for them in which a variety of professional and operational training sessions, dealing with areas such as business etiquette & professional image building, outward bound and effective presentation skills, were held prior to their job rotation training. The MTs have already completed the orientation program and started to perform duties in different departments for the 18-month training period. They will be attached in the Mainland portfolio for six months so as to comprehend the development of the Mainland. Shortly after they came on board, Management Trainees 2017 were given the opportunity to participate in the celebration party for Plaza 66 in Shanghai.

Mentors and Coaches to Guide Your Career Path

The Company cares about the MTs' career development. Therefore, the program designs a Mentor-Mentee Program and a Coach-Coachee Program for the MTs in which they are shadowed by our Directors and Senior Managers from different departments. During this period, the Mentors (Directors) and Coaches (Senior Managers) will meet with their mentees/coachees (MTs) regularly to give practical advice, as well as to share their valuable work and life experiences.
