Supervisory Management Program Attended By 1,600 Mainland Supervisors 54

    The Company launched the Supervisory Management Program (SMP) for frontline and administrative supervisors on the Mainland last year. The course covers a comprehensive syllabus of personnel management issues with seven modules. These are the Role of Supervisors, Effective Communication and Motivation Skills, Delegation and Leadership, Performance Monitoring and Giving Feedback, Effective Coaching Skills, Effective Time Management for Results, and a Creative Problem Solving Workshop.

     

    The first three modules of the course have been completed, and about 1,600 supervisors have participated. Meanwhile, trainers at Center 66 and Forum 66 have mastered the teaching points and skills from the Train the Trainers course for the fourth and fifth modules launched last October, and the courses for the two modules have already rolled out in respective projects. The sixth and seventh modules are planned for launching in the second half of this year. As a result, the entire course is expected to be complete by end of this year.
